AMACAST BENEFITS
Corrosion Resistant
A 300-series stainless steel shot that offers exceptional corrosion resistance.
Cost Effective
Ervin’s unique manufacturing processes create a more durable stainless steel shot with up to 5,000 or more impacts.
Environmentally Friendly
Contaminant-free and non-hazardous.
Safer to Use
During use, it is nearly dust-free for a cleaner blasting environment.
AMACAST APPLICATIONS
AMACAST is recommended where ferrous contamination must be avoided.
- Cleaning of aluminum and other non-ferrous castings and parts
- Surface finishing of stainless steel parts
- Zinc pressure die castings
- For use in blast cabinets
- Alternative for glass beads

Superior Processes Create Superior Products.
AMACAST stainless steel shot is produced using Ervin’s RSR Technology (Rapid Solidification Rate).
- The extremely fast solidification rates (cooling) develop a highly spherical shot shape with more uniformity and without internal voids.
- This increases durability by 20% over other water or gas atomized techniques.
- Ervin’s casting process gives the shot a bright finish and the shot is less dusty at the initial start of blasting.
