JOB SUMMARY:

 Industrial Electrician in training, working in a manufacturing factory environment.

APPRENTICESHIP REQUIREMENTS:

1. Enrolment in a state approved apprenticeship program for a period of 4 years including a minimum 576 hours of approved course work.
2. Enter into an apprenticeship agreement
3. Successful completion of an aptitude test

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Assist qualified personnel with the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
2. Read and interpret schematics, blueprints and wiring diagrams under supervision.
3. Install and terminate conduit, wire, cable control panels, motors and other industrial equipment.
4. Preform preventative maintenance to ensure safe reliable operation.
5. Use test equipment, hand and power tools to assist in the diagnoses and resolution of equipment issues.
6. Follow all company safety policies, OSHA regulations and NFPA 70E electrical safe electrical practices.
7. Maintain a clean and organized work area while documenting work performed and participating in on-the-job training and related classroom instruction.

RECOMMENDED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

1. Pre apprenticeship training or electrical experience is a plus
2. Strong mechanical aptitude
3. Strong math skills 
4. High school diploma or GED
5. Able to use hand tools, power tools, and measurement instruments
6. Exceptional oral and written communication skills
7. Excellent problem solving and analytical skills

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

1. Able to lift 50 lbs.
2. Standing, walking while performing duties
3. Required to climb, stoop, or kneel

WORKING SCHEDULE:

1. Work schedule to change during the program to provide time on all shifts and to accommodate classes
2. Overtime, weekends, and holidays as required.

COMPENSATION:

1. $20-$30/hr. depending on completed classes or experience
2. Overtime- time and half.  Sundays- double time
3.  Annual reviews

Job Description: Hands on supervision role. Lead a team of operators to meet production objectives. Make daily decisions to ensure safety and quality requirements are met. Responsible for daily operations and coaching.

5. Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and a basic level of computer skill (Word, Outlook)
6. Able to use hand tools, power tools, and measurement instruments
7. Experience using statistical process control techniques

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

1. Ability to lift 50 lbs on a regular basis
2. Standing, walking while performing duties
3. Occasionally required to climb, stoop, or kneel
4. Frequently required to operate a fork truck, hand truck, and overhead crane

WORKING SCHEDULE:

1. 3 pm – 11:30 pm
2. Overtime and weekends as required.

COMPENSATION:

1. $25-$30/hr
2. 2^nd Shift Premium -$1.00/hr, Melt Premium $1.50/hr
3. Overtime- time and half.  Sundays- double time.

Job Description: Manufacturing maintenance – perform maintenance, repair and installation of various equipment in order to maintain a safe and effective production environment

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Follow all safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas

3. Work independently – prioritize plant needs based on production sensitivity

REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Journeyman Maintenance Mechanic or equivalent
2. Minimum of 5 years as a journeyman/equivalent in an industrial manufacturing setting
3. Ability to demonstrate and apply mechanical aptitude
4. Able to use hand tools, power tools, and measurement instruments
5. Basic ability to read blueprints, equipment specifications and installation instructions.
6. Basic computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
7. Excellent troubleshooting skills

RECOMMENDED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Basic welding (stick, MIG, TIG) and fabrication skills
2. Machining experience (lathe, mill, surface grinder)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

1. Ability to lift 35 lbs. on a regular basis
2. Standing, walking while performing duties
3. Occasionally required to climb, stoop, or kneel

WORKING SCHEDULE:

1. Split shift between days and afternoons or nights and days preferred.  Open for negotiation.
2. Overtime and weekends as required.

COMPENSATION:

1. $30-$45/hr. depending on qualifications
2. Shift Premium for hours outside of day shift.

WORKING SCHEDULE:

1. 1^st shifts – 6am – 2:30pm, 6:30am – 3pm, 7am-3:30 pm
2. 2^nd shifts – 2:00pm – 10:30pm, 2:30pm – 11pm, 3pm-11:30 pm
3. 3^rd shifts – 10pm - 6:30am, 10:30pm – 7am, 11pm-7:30 am
4. Must be flexible, as senior employees have priority to displace newer employees to other positions and shifts.
5. Overtime and weekends as required.

COMPENSATION:

1. Starting wage:  $19.50/hr
2. 2^nd shift premium $1.00/hr, 3^rd shift premium $0.50/hr
3. Melting department premium $1.50/hr
4. Overtime- time and half.  Sundays- double time.
